Consumers in oral care market desire for new or more functionally improved mouthwashes. To develop and commercialize new conceptual and functional mouthwash products that are tissue- and condition-specific, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and implantitis, it is necessary to understand and consider the relevant cellular and histological research results findings accumulated by advanced research in science and technology. In particular, periodontal disease, which is the most common oral disease, can be prevented and treated depending on the progress and oral tissue specific micro-environment.
